Duties below are for the Department of Computing, University of Surrey.


MSc Admissions Officer

Process admissions for MSc programmes in the department:

  • MSc in Security Technologies and Applications
  • MSc in Internet Computing
  • MSc in Information Systems

Making final decisions on applications, with administrative support in Postgraduate Office.


MSc Projects Coordinator

Module convenor for COMM002 - MSc Dissertation; organizing:

  • Project selection process, including allocation of supervisor and examiner
  • Poster presentation and assessment, including formulation of marking criteria
  • Final report and viva assessment, including formulation of marking criteria
  • Assessment moderation and monitoring


BSc Projects Coordinator

Module convenor for COM3001 - Professional Project; organizing:

  • Project selection process, including allocation of supervisor and examiner
  • Interim discussion and assessment, including formulation of marking criteria
  • Final report and viva assessment, including formulation of marking criteria
